Personal Counseling

Since this is also the age when one often gets psychologically distanced from family, peer-group matters a lot. There may be all kinds of pressure from the friends’ circle driving one to do things he/she is not comfortable doing. One may get into dangerous practices harmful to the self and the society. Parents often fail to understand and befriend their children at this stage. Their judgmental and stern attitude alienates the children even further. The gap is then filled up by the friends who are equally naïve and reckless. The stress and tension of this life is paramount, affecting one’s health, academics, social presence as well as mental peace. They are often rebellious, irritated and lonesome at this stage. A counseling session can give them an opportunity to open up and share, find a direction in life and resolve conflicts at home and school/college/work-place.
